Let’s first think about all the powerful pieces of data that may already be stored in your CRM (Contact Relationship Management) system. This hopefully includes lots of information about your customers because for you to really take control of your emarketing strategy, you will need to have more information about them than just their names and phone numbers. If you’re using a system like Act! software, you will have information about each interaction with every one of your customers, including inquiry calls, invoices sent/received, current projects and more. The kind of information you can store about your customers is completely customizable depending on your type of business. It’s a good idea to work with an ACC (Act! Once you have all that information about your customers, you can now customize an emarketing campaign designed to reach a specific group. For example, you could easily target a group of customers who have had no contact with your company in the last six months. All you have to do is send a piece of emarketing reminding them it’s time to renew a subscription or stock up on products. You can further track those pieces of emarketing to see which of those clients actually opened that email and who clicked the links inside. Now you have even more specific information on those customers allowing you the ability to better target their needs.
By using these amazing business strategy tools together you and your employees will build stronger, more meaningful relationships with your customers resulting in more loyalty, brand recognition and ultimately increased revenue.
